Even the smallest water leaks can lead to large and costly quantities of lost water since these imperceptible water  leaks may have existed for long periods of time. We know the reason usage is high on Monday and Wednesday. These are lawn watering days. However, we determined that one inch of rain fell on the Sunday before, so no watering was needed. The property had rain sensors, but they were defective.

Typically, water utility companies bill sewer along with water. For each gallon of metered water, the customer is charged for a gallon of sewer.
